Intermediate Course (8-weeks)
This course is designed to carry on from the Novice and Novice Plus courses, but you are welcome to join these classes if your dog has knowledge of basic commands.  As ever, all of the courses are aimed at family pets and we will continue to use positive, reward-based training methods.  Hopefully, by now, you will have seen that basic training helps develop a bond between you and your dog so building a mutual respect and understanding.  This course starts with the assumption that dogs and owners are able to achieve all the basic commands (as Novice) reasonably reliably, and we will expand on all of these trying to improve reliability and consistency in these areas.  We will also be introducing retrieve, find (using scent), targeting (including emergency stop) and distance commands.  This course also introduces Rally UK - a new style of owner-friendly fun competition.
