Puppy Classes (8-weeks)
These are aimed at puppies aged between 8 and 20 weeks and may attend once their puppy vaccinations are complete.  Early socialisation is essential in helping a dog develop into a well-adjusted and happy family pet, and this course aims to introduce them to all degree of sights, sounds and smells that they will encounter in later life.  Mixing with other puppies will also help your pup to learn the body language and signals necessary to be able to communicate effectively with other dogs, and structured “free play” sessions will encourage your pup to interact with other dogs whilst remaining under the control of you – the owner.  

The course also aims to introduce basic commands such as sit, down, lead walking and recall.  Handouts will be provided at the end of each session.  

Owners of young pups often have lots of questions and issues and these classes also allow plenty of time for discussion.

Dogs should have completed their Puppy vaccinations and be under 20 weeks old at the start of the course.
